It’s August already! We are excited to announce the release of our first semester newsletter, covering activities and milestones from January to June 2024. This edition highlights our ongoing projects, key achievements, and insights into our conservation efforts. It serves as a comprehensive recap of our initiatives and progress, keeping our community and stakeholders informed about our impactful work. You can check our newsletter through this link.
This month, we also conducted a thorough evaluation of our strategic planning process and outlined the next steps for our initiatives. This evaluation was crucial in assessing our progress, identifying areas for improvement, and setting clear objectives for the coming months. The insights derived from this process will guide our strategic decisions and ensure that our efforts align with our long-term goals and impact.
Continuing the FOLU Net Sink activities held last June, we participated in the FOLU Net-sink 2.0 event held in Yogyakarta. This event focused on advancing the goals of the Forests and Other Land Use (FOLU) sector, emphasizing strategies to achieve net-zero emissions. Our involvement in this significant gathering allowed us to contribute to discussions on sustainable land use practices and network with key stakeholders in the field. The insights gained will be instrumental in shaping our future projects and collaborations.
As a partner of the Indonesia Net-Zero Summit 2024, we are committed to advancing the national agenda on achieving net-zero emissions. This summit is a key platform for fostering innovation and driving collective action towards a sustainable future. By sharing this event in our social media, we hope to encourage more participants to join and raise awareness about the climate crisis, which is the main focus of this event.
