Support the Future of Wildlife Conservation: Help WRC Jogja Relocate and Rebuild

Wildlife Rescue Centre Jogja (WRC Jogja) has been a vital sanctuary for endangered and injured animals in Yogyakarta. However, due to the construction of a new toll road, we had to halt our hands-on work with rescued animals in December 2022. This challenge has led us to a pivotal moment in our journey.

We have secured a piece of land where we plan to build a new, modern rescue center. This facility will allow us to continue our mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and conserving wildlife in Indonesia. But we need your help to make this vision a reality.

Tojeiro volunteered at WRC in 2018 and instantly fell in love. He decided to leave his job in the Netherlands to work alongside our keepers, managing projects and making sure all the animals get the best care possible. During the relocation period, Tojeiro studied animal health management to increase his capacity in the field of animal welfare.
