Contact us

Cisca has a strong marketing and communications background which, combined with her love of animals, makes her the perfect person to keep our centre running. She joined WRC Jogja in April 2018, and is in charge of overseeing all operational aspects of the center.

She graduated from anthropology and entered the conservation field to get new experiences. “It’s both challenging and rewarding to meet new people who want to help animals live better lives.”

Graduated from Vocational High School, Erlinda joined WRC Jogja since 2019. She is quite a conscientious person and a quick learner. During the relocation period, Erlinda had plenty of time to continue studying. Currently she is studying Public Sector Accounting to develop her knowledge.

Tojeiro volunteered at WRC in 2018 and instantly fell in love. He decided to leave his job in the Netherlands to work alongside our keepers, managing projects and making sure all the animals get the best care possible. During the relocation period, Tojeiro studied animal health management to increase his capacity in the field of animal welfare.

Our handyman. Joined since the center was built and have experienced the ups and downs of this centre. A father of two children has become our mainstay in matters of electricity, water lines, repair of tools and buildings, and much more. During this relocation period, Mas Manto was assisted by another colleague who was entrusted with caring for the property and buildings that were still there.

Quick to learn and responsive to be his strengths. Risman joined WRC Jogja since 2019 and together with Manto was tasked with caring for and maintaining our existing building in Sendangsari and helping with preparations for relocation to a new land. Risman is also good at raising livestock and farming. Even though he is only a vocational high school graduate, his abilities are reliable

Previously working as a voluntary veterinarian in WRC Jogja, Bandang is now primarily organizing several research projects, laboratory work, and conservation education for communities in the center. Beside working for the center, he is also a full-time teaching staff member at a university in Malang, East Java, in the field of veterinary anatomic pathology, providing access to a broader dissemination of conservation studies. He is one of the WRC Jogja Board Supervisors.

More than fifteen years of experience in biodiversity, conservation, natural resource management, conservation law enforcement, and community development. Main interest in how to develop strategies to improve biodiversity conservation, sustainable development in Indonesia, wildlife protection, and renewable energy. Involved in some training and capacity-building development and implementation for the government, NGO, and Community.

She is one of the founders of the Yogyakarta Nature Conservation Foundation and the first child of Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X. She is also involved in a number of other organizations. In addition to her busy schedule, she is concerned with the preservation of wildlife in Indonesia.

A veterinarian with a master’s degree in conservation medicine, she specialized in primate reintroduction in Indonesia. 15 years of experience working for the orangutan, she graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, in 2007 and has a master’s degree in Conservation Medicine from Murdoch University, Australia. She is active as the Southeast Asia Representative as well as being a member of the Steering Committee of the Orangutan Veterinary Advisory Group (OVAG). Now she is on the Advisory Board at WRC Jogja.

His love for architecture and nature inspired him to join the Advisory Board at WRC Jogja. He always tries to incorporate the value of locality into a design strategy to integrate architecture with social, cultural, and environmental contexts. In the world of architecture, Mr. Eko views architecture as a journey, seeking a new balance in a world that is constantly changing. Architecture is a means to maintain the spirit of community togetherness and live in harmony with nature.

As a graduate of the UGM Bachelor of Architecture and continuing his Master in Architecture at the Berlage Institute Amsterdam, he dedicated himself as a lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at Duta Wacana Christian University. In his retirement, he is still teaching as a lecturer and wants to continue working by taking part in the relocation of this new site.
