Story Ucokwati & Mungil Final Part🦧

After almost 10 years mother Ucokwati and daughter Mungil are finally on their way home!

Yesterday it was a big day at WRC Jogja since it was time to translocate our two female orangutans back to Borneo.

They will go to a COP site and attend Jungle School for a while to learn the last necessary skills before being released in their natural habitat again where they will live freely on their own.

After preparing the transport cages in the morning it was time to get Ucokwati and Mungil and do a last medical check before going to the airport.

We will miss these lovely ladies but we are really happy that they finally go back to the place where they belong!❤️

Cerita Ucokwati & Mungil Bagian terakhir🦧

Setelah hampir 10 tahun, ibu Ucokwati dan putrinya Mungil akhirnya pulang!

Kemarin menjadi hari yang besar di WRC Jogja karena sudah saatnya memindahkan dua orangutan betina kami kembali ke Kalimantan.

Mereka akan pergi ke situs COP dan menghadiri Sekolah Hutan untuk sementara waktu untuk mempelajari keterampilan terakhir yang diperlukan sebelum dilepasliarkan di habitat aslinya lagi di mana mereka akan hidup bebas sendiri.

Setelah menyiapkan kandang transport pada pagi hari tibalah waktunya menjemput Ucokwati dan Mungil dan melakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan terakhir sebelum berangkat ke bandara.

Kami akan merindukan wanita-wanita cantik ini tetapi kami sangat senang mereka akhirnya kembali ke tempat mereka berasal! ❤️
